The KEBS and ISO Framework
Every piece of steel that enters our Ruiru workshop is vetted. We source only from reputable mills that provide material test certificates (MTCs), ensuring the steel meets the required yield strength and chemical composition. Our processes align with the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) and international ISO 9001 quality management protocols.
Precision Welding and Fabrication
Welding is the heart of steel fabrication. Our welders are highly certified and follow a strict Welding Procedure Specification (WPS).
- Visual Inspection: Every weld is checked for profile, size, and continuity.
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): For critical structural joints, we employ NDT methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI). These allow us to “see” inside the weld to ensure total fusion without damaging the material.
Dimensional Accuracy
Using digital measuring tools and cutting-edge machinery, we ensure that every beam is cut and drilled to a tolerance of within 1-2 millimeters. This precision ensures that when the steel arrives on your site, it fits together perfectly like a giant jigsaw puzzle, eliminating the need for dangerous on-site modifications.
